Jungle Cat World

A wild life park located in Orono, Ontario. Great place to visit if you love animals. You can also make an early appointment so you can get closer to the baby tigers or any other animals of your choice and hold them, feed them milk, take pictures. Some farm animals and birds roam around the park freely. A free feeding tour where the girl fed the tigers and and other wild cats and answered any questions kids threw at her. Kids would love this place!!!

They have their own nice bed and breakfast if you decide to stay. Also night safaris and more.

My favorite time was with ‘Cookie’ the parrot. One of the zoo keepers made the parrot and dance.

Fabians Cafe, a little sweet spot.

Nice little European cafe. Everything I’ve tried here the cakes, cup cakes tiny mice shaped chocolates the shakes all taste home made and really yummy. Very cozy decor with just enough room.
Located right at Markham and Lawrence, Scarborough

Rouge Valley Conservation Center

If you love nature, the greens, photography.. Then you got to check this place up…. I mean around the place too….. Has little trails going down the woods….. A frog pond, birds, rabbits running around, dragon flies and more….Right close to the Toronto Zoo.

I was there today for a volunteer program sponsored by TD where my sister works…..

Stay away from coyotes and snakes, I was told. :)

What we did…

Sylvan park…. Tiny spot!

A cliff facing Lake Ontario. Great for a small group of friends, No Parking since it is in a residential area so please do not make loud noises or litter. Just go there and enjoy the free view and turn right back (thats what I do).

Leslie Spit

A 5km walk from the parking lot…. A man made peninsula in the lake Ontario. This is a great place for anyone that loves nature and the outdoors… Especially for bird watchers/lovers. Nice big open lake also many different spots to cast from around the shoreline. The guard told me theirs carps, walleyes, pikes and others (hint: right across the little bridge) however I’m a noob so didn’t have any luck but enjoyed watching them jumping out of the water and swimming right by my bait haha….

This lil peninsula got many people rollerblading, cycling on the trails….. A very good spot for nature lovers….
